The Gestalt Institute of Toronto is a non profit learning and training facility devoted to personal growth and professional development. They needed a site that was not only a primary tool for getting their message out, they also wanted something that they could manage and that would eventually evolve into a tool for online registration and payment.

Interface Industries designed a beautifully whimsical yet controlled design that was an immediate success. It captured the essence of what Gestalt is, within an inclusive and diverse design. And like a lot of our web work, the new look was so well received it served as a basis for a whole new campaign in another medium, in this case a direct mail run.

However the beauty of this site is that under the easy going and welcoming exterior lurks a serious php database engine so that the entire site can be updated by staff anytime, from anywhere with any browser. From the extensive list of downloadable brochures in pdf format to the completely dynamic calendar, it is a breeze to manage. As a result, the staff now have more time to deal with all of the new interest generated from the web site.

Because when you are working on changing and challenging the very way people think, you don’t have any time to sweat the small stuff.
