CBC Television 50th Anniversary

When the CBC turned 50 they knew they wanted to celebrate their accomplishments with a cutting edge web site but as a public corporation they didn't have an unlimited budget. They wanted a great design that would be visually appealing, and show off a sense of history but they needed the flexibility so they could plug in content up to the last minute. So they came to Interface Industries.

We came up with a beautiful series of templates for all the major sections and programs which provided a big range of options within an overarching theme. Then we broke out the flash to produce two exceptional interactive pieces, a timeline for showing off all of the key milestones over the 50 years and an interactive calendar for tracking program times and descriptions.

In short they got a great site which they could work with easily, that is not only educational and fun, but is also a perfect companion to the live coverage. Now that's something to celebrate!
